Emergency roof repair in Colorado Springs
Water coming in, a limb through the roof, or shingles gone in a windstorm. Call; the line is answered 24/7.

An emergency is anything that lets water into the house right now or will with the next storm: an open section of roof, a branch through the decking, flashing torn loose, a skylight cracked by hail. The goal of an emergency visit is to make the roof watertight until it can be repaired properly in daylight and dry weather.
What to do while you wait
- Stay off the roof. Wet shingles and storm debris are how people get hurt.
- Move furniture, electronics and rugs away from the water and put buckets under drips.
- If water is near light fixtures or outlets, switch off that circuit at the breaker if you can do it safely.
- Take photos of the damage inside and out for your insurer.
- If a tree is tangled in power lines, keep clear and call the utility first.

What we do when we get there
Debris that can safely be moved comes off the roof. The opening gets a heavy tarp that runs over the ridge where possible, held by wooden battens screwed into the roof deck. We photograph everything for your claim, then schedule the permanent repair. Our step-by-step guide to the first hours after roof damage has more detail.
Questions about emergency roofing
How quickly can you get here?
It depends on the weather and how many roofs are open after a storm. Leaks with water inside are scheduled first; call and we will give you a time.
Is emergency tarping covered by insurance?
Many policies cover reasonable steps to prevent further damage. Keep the invoice and photos for your adjuster.
Can you tarp in snow?
Often, yes, once it is safe to be on the roof. Snow on the roof does make it slower.
